Rumia delivered an unforgettable weekend as it hosted the 2025 Europe Triathlon Duathlon Championships, welcoming over 500 athletes from across the continent. From elite stars to juniors, U23, para-athletes, and Age Group competitors, the event celebrated the full spectrum of European duathlon talent.

In the elite races, France’s Emile Blondel Hermant and Spain’s María Varo Zubiri claimed the European titles with dominant performances. Italy’s Davide Menichelli impressed by medaling in both elite and U23 categories, while fellow Italian Noemi Bogiatto took gold in the U23 women’s race.

Poland celebrated victories at home with Hanna Foltyniewicz winning the Junior Women’s title and strong podium showings in the U23 and Junior categories. Hundreds of Age Group athletes added to the electric atmosphere, showcasing passion and dedication across sprint and standard distances.
